Nora Shanahan (1943-2020)
We mourn the death of Nora Shanahan who was the administrative officer for our Centre in the early years of its development. Nora was the glue that kept 3 former directors and staff together with her administrative skills when there was the ongoing struggle to secure donations and grants to keep us going. She was the Secretary to our Advisory Board that ensured the ongoing consultation with our community and Fanshawe partners. She was recognized by the London Coordinating Committee to End Woman Abuse for her outstanding dedication to the community. We will all miss her and offer her family our condolences.
