About Web of Impact

Web of Impact is a national knowledge mobilization initiative led by CREVAWC. The project brings together learning from over 70 projects across Canada that have developed or scaled promising practices to prevent and respond to gender-based violence (GBV).

Across Canada, community organizations, researchers, and practitioners are developing innovative approaches to addressing GBV. However, these insights are often shared locally or within limited networks, making it difficult for the broader GBV sector to access and build on this knowledge. Web of Impact responds to this challenge by creating opportunities to connect learning across projects, identify shared themes and promising practices, and mobilize this knowledge widely across the GBV sector.

Through collaborative knowledge exchange activities, themed discussions among projects, and the creation of accessible knowledge mobilization resources, the project will surface lessons learned and highlight promising practices that can inform policy, programs, and services.

An interactive Web of Impact platform will host project summaries, thematic insights, and knowledge resources designed to support learning and innovation across the GBV sector. All resources will be available in English and French, and shared widely through webinars, digital resources, and sector networks to support broad access and uptake.
