Since 1990 Catherine has had her own human resources consultancy firm, working with public, private and non-profit sector employers to help them more effectively manage people, performance, change and conflict.
Since 1991 Catherine has taught part-time at the University of Western Ontario, most recently in the Master of Public Administration Program.
Catherine Burr has developed extensive experience in dealing with workplace harassment and she is now considered a Canadian expert on workplace harassment and bullying.
Initially, Catherine worked as a human rights officer investigating complaints. Later she worked at the Canadian Human Rights Commission developing policy and providing advice to federally regulated employers. Then, for several years she acted as an internal specialist on workplace equality initiatives.
